				The first heat of
the night saw Nathan start in position five, taking a few laps
to find a rhythm dropping one place back to 6th before moving
forward past Darren Ciesolka then Shannon Blackburn to
ultimately finish 3rd with a photo finish beside Graeme Jones
				across the line.

				Up near the back of
the field in the next heat, Nathan and Shane moved their way
through into 3rd and 5th respectively.  Nathan chased down
the race leader Dennis Bullpitt and Jason Jolley to be right on
their rear bumper across the finish line.

				Before the last
round of heats Nathan changed the spring rates in the car to be
able to handle the changing track conditions.  This heat
saw Shane on the front row beside Andrew Harper with Nathan from
position three.  Into the first turn and Andrew Harper had
a big moment getting the BA Falcon up on two wheels which in
turn saw Shane having to get off the throttle to steer clear.
Andrew brought the car back down without incident.  As this
unfolded Nathan snuck by to take the lead.  Shane
regathered to finish 4th while Nathan went on to win
				comfortably.

				Nathan qualified his
VZ Commodore on the outside front row beside former National
Champion Jason Jolley, with Robert Trapp out of positon three,
followed by Dennis Bullpitt, Greg Worling, Brendan Kennedy,
				Shane Macdonald and Matt Swarbrooke.

				As Macdonald and
Jolley raced into turn one, Jason held his line down low to jump
ahead of Macdonald. Greg Worling soon moved into 3rd place with Shane back in 6th.
This set the precedence for a nail biting race to the end.
As Jolley, Macdonald and Worling diced their way through lapped
traffic, Nathan saw an opportunity open up as Jason went low on
a lapped car with Nathan choosing the high line, both squeezing
past the car and racing side by side into the next turn.
Nathan was able carry the momentum on the outside and into the
lead.  From there on in Macdonald kept a comfortable lead
to take out his maiden feature race win. Jason Jolley was 2nd
followed by Greg Worling, Matt Swarbrooke, Dennis Bullpitt and
				Shane Macdonald.

				While Shane has work
commitments, You will next see Nathan in action at Maryborough
Speedway for Round 1 of the Fraser Coast Series, with already
over 30 nominations for the event the competition is well and
truly alive and kicking for Modified Production in QLD.
