Shane and Nathan both showed good car speed on the weekend at the XXX Australian Open at Maryborough Speedway but were not able to turn that speed into a strong result after Nathan fell victim to a flat tyre while running in second position in the 50 lap final and Shane had fuel pump problems while running strongly in the final also.

No track time, no worries. Shane MacDonald might have been lacking track time leading into the 2012–13 season Queensland Modified Sedan Title at South Burnett Speedway in Kingaroy last weekend, but that didn’t stop him from taking out the event for the second time in his career.

For the second season in a row, Nathan MacDonald has finished one spot shy of the Australian Modified Sedan Title win. Last weekend on his home track, Charlton Raceway in Toowoomba, Queensland, he finished in second place on the podium behind winner Aidan Raymont.

Macdonald Racing are proud to announce a Multi Draw Raffle in aid of Lachlan to America which has been organised by Nathan Macdonald's uncle, Peter Macdonald.  The raffle includes over 30 prizes to be won which will be drawn at 11am on Saturday 8th of September 2012 at the West Toowoomba Bowls Club. Tickets will be sold for $2 each.

Macdonald Racing will be trying something unique at Maryborough Speedway next weekend (9th & 10th June) for the QLD Modified Production Title, except it won't be performance enhancing, or anything on the race car for that matter.

Meet Lachlan Stretton, a 3 year old boy who was born 8 weeks premature and diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at the age of 8 months.  On the day he was diagnosed his parents were told that he would never lead a normal life, but now he is talking, commando crawling, using a standing frame, feeding himself and also being able to take 2 steps as long as he is supported.

Nathan Macdonald and the Macdonald Racing team recently spent a couple weeks down south in Victoria racing in two of the biggest events of the season for Modified Production Sedans, with firstly the Australian Championship at Mildura’s ‘Timmis Speedway’ and the ‘Morris Finance Ltd’ Victorian Open at Alexandra Speedway and they did a great job coming away with the Aussie # 2 plate from Mildura whilst at the ‘Open’ the going was a little tougher for the Toowoomba racers.
