				Title
			Friday April
				29, 2011

				The Easter long
weekend saw the running of the Australian Modified Production
Championship at Lismore Speedway, NSW.  Nathan had some
mixed results bagging two heat wins over the two nights of
racing, while finishing 6th and 9th in his other heats.
Nathan's last heat win propelled him from 20th position to an
8th place start in the 40 lap final.

				This weekend Shane
was trying a totally different setup on the car, with some
strong results in his heats obtaining two 2nd's, a 4th and a
6th.  Due to the 70 plus cars entered into the event, Shane
was forced to start from 3rd in the B-main.  Shane slipped
back to fourth place mid race and would eventually pull to the
infield with a flat tyre, ending his chance of making it into
				the A main.

				After taking a very
satisfying win in his final heat over Glenn Pagel and Aidan
Raymont, Nathan was feeling very comfortable with the car on a
slick track, which until now, had struggled somewhat on tracks
with little grip.  With some new shocks in the car and some
good setups, Nathan felt he had a car that could move forward in
				the final.

				As the prestigious
final got underway, Nathan got caught out up high and went back
to 10th, before quickly finding a way around Mark Carlin and
Justin Drew.  Todd Doyle spun while leading the race
bringing on the yellow lights.  Nathan was now into 6th
position behind Glenn Pagel.  As the race restarted
Nathan's right front ball joint broke on the suspension forcing
him onto the infield and ending another top 10 Australian Title
				hope as a disappointment.

				This weekend the
30th April/1st May will see the running of the QLD Title at
Charlton Raceway.  Both Shane and Nathan will be hoping for
a good run on home turf with a lot of loyal and local supporters
				to cheer us on.

				See you then.
