 Nathan
Macdonald went out to Charlton Raceway on Friday night, to
take his VS Commodore for it's first run this season.  After
only 5 laps, Macdonald had to shut the engine down after
flames engulfed in and around the engine.  After lifting the
bonnet it was found oil had leaked out of the tappet cover
gasket and caught on fire after leaking onto the exhaust.  A
quick change of leads and a new gasket solved the problem,
Nathan going out on the track again to get some more laps in
the car.  The Mac1 Designs commodore punching out some
decent laps around the clay circuit.  After several runs, it
seems all the first race glitches are gone, hopefully!  In a
fortnight's time it will be off to Yandina Speedway for the
					City of Brisbane Title.
