Nathan
Macdonald claimed victory in the feature race at Charlton
Raceway on Saturday night to extend his lead in the seasonal
					point score.
					For heat 1
Nathan started from 4th place, as the greens flashed
Macdonald followed Peter Smith to go around the high side of
Darran Ciesolka and into 2nd place, as the track proved to
be a handful with the pole line very greasy.  Macdonald
chased Peter Smith all the way in his cortina but couldn't
manage to make a pass, with all cars running right up on the
fence to get some drive.  Smith took the win with Macdonald
2nd and Darran Ciesloka 3rd.  Peter Rogers did not finish
					after contact with the wall.
					The next heat
was rushed with only 2 events in between the races.  Nathan
was to start off of pole, with Peter Smith on the outside.
Smith held his line as he drove up high to take the lead
over Macdonald as he bogged down in the wet.  Macdonald once
again took chase, putting the nose of his commodore up the
inside but couldn't make the pass and had to settle for
2nd.  Smith took out the heat with Macdonald 2nd and Darran
Ciesloka 3rd.  Peter Rogers pulled out after suffering
damage from the first heat and didn't have time to look at
					the car.
					Macdonald
qualified out of position 2, with hard charging Peter Smith
off of pole.  At the end of the night the track had come
real good with plenty of drive, as the race got underway
Macdonald streamed into the lead around turn 1 and never
looked back, as the Mac1 Designs commodore come on strong
come feature time and led the race from start to finish.
Darran Ciesloka progressed through to finish 2nd with Peter
Smith in 3rd.  Peter Rogers had a handful with an ailing
race car as the right front wheel was just about to give way
					but still managed to finish.
